To get into SAG, you have to have had
a part in a SAG production, and not a background part, which you
would have to get waivers to submit....
OR
You have to be a member of another Union for at least a year....like
AFTRA. AFTRA needs you to show that you have been working steady
and paid....so some get in that way...save your pay stubs!

Modeling Agents and Talent Agents are a must-have if you intend
to have a sucessful career in entertainment. The Agent's role is
to gain paid employment and contracts for their clients. They charge
a percentage (usually 15%) of everything that their client makes.
Agents spend years creating a reputation for themselves and contacts
in the industry. The normal types of agents include those for castings
such as casting calls for theatrical events (i.e. television, film
& theatre productions), Talent Agents for voice actors such as radio
spots, commercial over-dubs and animated films and television shows.
